Vansplainer
Vansplainer is a heavy rock band from Athens, GA.
Vansplainer began as a spinoff project from The Dictatortots, and consists of what might be called the Dictatortot rhythm section:
* Dr. Ass on drums with two actual bass drums
* Snake (or Bear) on one bass guitar
* teh Reaver on the other bass guitar
Finding the brownest of notes is the primary goal. Vocals are secondary at best. Topics range from pooping your pants to lawn care to viking coprolites.
In early 2025, Vansplainer released their first album, entitled Vansplainer. Adam Chandler recorded and mixed it at his Athens studio, and Jason Nesmith of Chase Park Transduction mastered it.
Most streaming services and digital music stores have the album available now. A vinyl edition is currently in the works.
