Trio Metro
Trio Metro is a jazz trio playing in the greater Athens area and is composed of Mindy Towe on Sax, Tracy Reynolds on Keys, and Ron Balthazor on Drums. Each one of the trio has a long musical history and an array of musical experiences. The trio’s music most often comes from the jazz standards of the Great American Songbook, though they love to play more contemporary covers as well.
Trio Metro will be joined for Athfest by Dr. Tony McCutchen on vibes and Cher Schmidt on vocals.
