The Midknighters

The Midknighters are a high-energy rock band built on raw sound, tight chemistry, and a powerful live presence. Founded by Sean MacPherson (guitar/vocals) and Ryan Dater (bass), who grew up together in Marietta, Georgia, the lineup expanded in 2025 at the University of Georgia with guitarist Jacob Raymond and drummer Maximo Hill. Now a staple in the Athens and Atlanta scenes, they’ve brought their explosive shows across the Southeast, including Clemson and Savannah. With two releases, Nothin’ Left to Lose and The Light, their sound blends ‘90s/2000s rock energy with the heavy, riff-driven influence of ‘70s hard rock.
