Jackie Hales
Jackie Hales is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who fronts the band Your Ex’s Pets and plays in a host of others in Athens and Atlanta. She began playing guitar at age 11 and began writing songs and picking up other instruments shortly after. Her writing explores love, infatuation, social performance, pride, and the many ways that things aren’t always as they seem. Jackie was a finalist for the 2026 Vic Chesnutt Songwriter of the Year Award for her song “U Yes U,” recorded by Your Ex’s Pets.
