IAMTIKICA is a proud Athens native who credits her gift of song from her mother and her love of performing from her father, renowned drummer Alford J. Cooper, who played for musical greats Otis Redding, Percy Sledge, and more. She has continued the musical legacy as an R&B recording artist having released her debut EP album in ‘22 and a single in ‘23, which is available on all major platforms. In fact, one of the albums’ songs was featured in the movie “Til My Casket Drops,” available on Prime, Tubi, and Freevee.

IAMTIKICA’s theatrical experience includes the musicals “Linnentown,” “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Big River,” and musical experience includes countless performances (beginning at age 6), her namesake TLC Band, ensembles, and music education (including coaching by the legendary John Patton Jr. aka Shug’s Dad in the Color Purple) and singing backup for Natalie Cole in the 1994 Superbowl!

She holds a BBA from Clark Atlanta University, an MBA from Piedmont University, and attended John Casablancas Center for Modeling & Acting. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and board member and Recruiting Committee Chair of the Georgia Children’s Chorus.
