Dayroom

Dayroom is an alternative rock band originally from Athens, GA that played throughout the 1990’s. With a relentless tour schedule, they performed over 200 shows a year for over 8 years. The band spent most of its time in the southeast and midwest as well as a few jaunts to the northeast and Europe. They released 3 studio albums through the course of their career. Perpetual Smile released their debut album in 1994. 1997’s follow-up album “Contagious” featured their regional radio hit “Cheap Wine” and was voted local Album of the Year by Atlanta’s alternative radio station, 99x. The band’s last album “Better Days” received more critical success prior to the band breaking up in February of 2000. Dayroom has played a small number of reunion shows in Atlanta and Athens, GA. They released the single “Hannah” in November 2019.
