Description of Event:Join us for a special donation-based yoga class benefiting AthFest Educates, supporting arts education for K–12 youth in Athens-Clarke County. This class will be offered in the Hatha tradition, emphasizing intentional movement, muscle engagement, and strong alignment to help participants build strength and body awareness.

With no flow between poses, this practice is highly accessible and allows for a thoughtful, grounded experience suitable for all levels. Participants can expect a supportive environment that encourages exploration, stability, and confidence in each posture. You’ll leave feeling strong, knowledgeable, and aligned—while contributing to a meaningful cause in our community.
Anticipated Demographic:This event is open to a broad and inclusive audience, including adults of all experience levels, beginners new to yoga, and community members interested in supporting arts education through movement. The accessible, alignment-focused Hatha format makes the class especially welcoming for individuals seeking a slower, more intentional practice. Overall, the anticipated demographic includes a diverse cross-section of the Athens community, reflecting a range of ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Discount for AthFest Wristband holder:This is a donation-based class, and AthFest wristband holders are welcome to attend and contribute any amount they feel comfortable with, including $0. All proceeds will be donated to AthFest Educates. To reserve a spot, participants are encouraged to create an online account with M3 Yoga & Hot Pilates; support will be available to assist with this process. Drop-ins will also be welcomed as space allows.
Organization Mission:The M’s in our name stand for mind, matter, and movement.  We focus on keeping all three of those in alignment and a good place. A healthy mind and matter (body) are vital to happiness and longevity. And movement is the key across our different modalities and traditions.

Our Core Values Include:
Inclusivity
M3 Yoga & Hot Pilates is a place where everyone is welcome. Our motto is yoga for EVERY body. We are a family of all ages, backgrounds, orientations, genders, ethnicities, and skill levels. We firmly believe that yoga should be accessible to EVERY body, and train our teachers and offer classes that fulfill that belief.

Community
Community is the core of M3 Yoga & Hot Pilates. We pride ourselves on knowing people not just as students, but as people. Whether it’s a chat at the check-in desk or long discussion after a class, our team and all our M3 Warriors value the connections we make through yoga.

Playfulness
Yoga shouldn’t be boring and stale. We believe there should be a sense of fun to your yoga practice and encourage our members to try new things, experiment with variations and keep things fresh and new. Don’t be surprised if our instructors crack a joke in class. Laughter can make those poses feel even better.

Innovation
We are always striving to improve our studios, our classes, our teachings and ourselves. M3 was founded on the belief that you can never stop learning and growing. That’s why you’ll see us making tweaks or changes all the time to provide you the best studio community possible.

Intelligent Movement
Founded by a registered nurse, we don’t just move to move at M3. Our classes offer smart, intelligent sequences that meet a purpose and help you reach your health and wellness goals.
