Known for their heady mix of indie, post-hardcore and Southern Gothic influences, Wieuca has modeled themselves after prolific 90’s lofi acts like Guided By Voices, with over 40 releases to date. With blistering guitars and glitchy electronics, Wieuca’s sprawling output was a futuristic and aggressive take on 90’s oddball favorites like Beck and guitar-era Beastie Boys, finding creative and often bizarre ways to bridge disparate subgenres and play with their tropes.
