Way Past Cool

Way Past Cool was formed in the summer of 2022 in Athens, GA and has been making waves in the local punk rock scene. Inspired by classic pop-punk and emo bands of the 90’s and 2000’s such as Green Day, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, and Paramore, Way Past Cool specializes in guitar-driven rock songs with angsty lyrics, anthemic vocals, and catchy hooks. The band’s line-up features members of several long-running Athens bands, including Burns Like Fire, Swear Jar, and Gimme Hendrix. Their debut E.P., “It’s Fine, I’m Fine, Everything’s Fine,” was recorded at Full Moon Studio and is scheduled for release this year.
