Triplicate

Triplicate is three copies.

For collaborators Trevor Thrift (Vocals, Keys), Samuel Williamson (Guitar) and Matthew Brantley (Bass), they may as well be clones of one another. They speak the same compositional language: of atmospheric synths, angular guitar, driving bass, and precise drumming, and all draw on wide-ranging influences from dance rock and electronica to math rock and psychedelia. Triplicate rarely morphs into one sonic form for too long. It’s no wonder, then, that the previous iteration of the band (Convince the Kid) had to give way to a new identity: the group saw a new vessel through which to be pursue unmitigated genre exploration and seized upon it.
