Sarah Zúñiga

If you’re looking for that 90s singer-songwriter vibe with a twist, you have found it in Sarah Zúñiga. Zúñiga is an Ecuadorian and Nicaraguan, New York born singer-songwriter and guitarist who has made Athens, Georgia her home.  Her performances range from headlining well-known venues such as The 40 Watt Club in Athens to The Vinyl/Center Stage in Atlanta, to major music festivals like AthFest, to local pubs in Ireland and England, as well as being the first Latina to headline the Georgia Theatre as a solo artist. Sarah has received several prestigious nominations such as finalist for the Rotary Club’s Annual Vic Chesnutt Song of the Year Award for several years, and Athens’ Flagpole Songwriter of the Year Award.  She has written and composed a great deal of songs both in Spanish and English in genres including folk, alternative and rock. She will be performing songs off her latest debut album, ‘Quiet Spaces Dark Places’, out on June 5th, 2022. Her latest single, “I Like Knowing You’re Around” is available on Spotify, iTunes, GooglePlay, Apple Music, etc, which was filmed in beautiful downtown Athens!
