“If Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and Paramore married and had a queer southern baby.” ozello is a queer folk/punk band from Atlanta blending emo vulnerability with southern grit. The group of five multi-instrumentalists mix trumpet and violin with distorted bass, and punk drums with lyrics touching on love, loss, sea creatures, and fractured families. Their debut album “you know how it ends” will be released this year, following 2019’s EP, “pronouns”.
