Immaterial Possession

Immaterial Possession are local Athenian dwellers in their own genre-muting world. They embody a spirit of psychedelic-folk-pop, with a currently up-beat and dance oriented live set. In their sound you can find kindred inspiration from local sages B-52s and Pylon, as well as a reminiscence to Elephant 6 dream-scape explorations. They recently released their second album, Mercy of the Crane Folk, on Fire Records. Joyzine wrote, “… and once again they have brought us a set of mysterious dark-folk songs that are enchantingly out of time.”
