Father Werewolf

Father Werewolf is an Athens, Georgia, based rock band, led by bassist Mandy Branch (Incendiaries, Secret Europeans), with guitarist Christian Phily (Sewer Kitty, Blood Sucking Fiends) and drummer Jeff Cummings (Kompromat). Formed in 2019 with drummer Forrest Leffer (Dark Meat, Carrie Nations), the trio released their first album, Red Bird, in early 2020. Branch’s falsetto floats her poetic narratives just above the surface of pop-infused and gain-soaked melodies that are in equal parts Rainer Maria and Jesus Lizard. While writing with a nod to 90s underground, the trio is firmly locked into creating a timeless sound.
