Elijah Johnston

Elijah Johnston is a singer-songwriter from Athens, GA whose songs bridge the conversational songwriter fare of now and the hooky guitar based music of the past. Johnston was the winner of the 2022 Vic Chesnutt Songwriter of the Year Award in Athens, and he has shared stages with acts like Noah Gundersen, Susto, and the Pink Stones, establishing a name as a recognized songwriter with a potent live show to match. He has a dynamic live show, appearing at SXSW 2023 solo and touring around the southeast with a rotating live band featuring members of fellow Athens bands Hotel Fiction and lighthearted. His new album arrives this fall and promises a bold new direction for Johnston courtesy of production from Tommy Trautwein (Well Kept, Heffner) and mastering by Matt Martin (COIN, Faye Webster, Wanderwild).
