Dooley and Baldwin

Ashton Dooley and Norman Baldwin made their debut as a duo at the 2020 online Historic Athens Porchfest, where they received the fourth highest views among all performers. Since then, they expanded to be a six-piece band, crafted 47 songs, released an EP – “Welcome to Dawgtown” – and are currently releasing singles fresh from the studio and their most recent album, “Rant.” Considering themselves simply rock-n-rollers, listen carefully and you can’t miss the Brit rock overtones to their distinctive guitar riffs and hard-driving drumbeats. However, with songs crafted by two professors and two doctoral candidates, their music refuses to shy away from controversies that academics are obliged to address, much to the liking of the emo enthusiasts.
