Bugs Eat Books
The Bugs are a fearsome foursome who play jangly, chaotic, and surferyish indie pop. They’re doing their own thang, but you can tell they’ve listened to a lot of Pavement, The Cure, GBV, Superchunk, Alvvays, Vampire Weekend, and everyone’s fav insect-themed band from the 60s. They originated in the swamps of Florida, migrated to Athens, put out some tunes, took a hiatus, and are back at it again, having learned to actually play and sing in the meantime. Members include Jon Croxton (The Wee Turtles), Lauren Gregg (Dog Person), Rob Derrick (Boo Goo), and Tom Vincent (Sea of Cortez). A new album is on the way!
