MUSIC FLOAT NAMED "MOST SPIRITED": The music scene float that AthFest co-sponsors in the annual Downtown Athens Parade of Lights in December was awarded "Most Spirited," thanks to Lona performing holiday tunes and our staff acting zany.

ATHFEST 2008 NAMED READERS' CHOICE: AthFest was named the "Best Festival" for 2008 by readers of the Athens Banner-Herald as part of their Readers' Choice awards.

ATHFEST NAMED A TOP 20 EVENT: The Southeastern Tourism Society has named AthFest 2009 as a Top 20 Event for June 2009. This marks the fifth time we've received the designation.

2009 COMPILATION CD SUBMISSIONS: Are you a musician from Athens or in a band from Athens? If so, then submit a track for consideration as part of the AthFest 2009 compilation from Nov. 1 - Jan. 30. Find out more.
