AthFest is a celebration of everything great about Athens, especially how it is such a family-friendly community! To make the festival experience enjoyable for attendees of all ages, we dedicate a special block-long area of the festival for kids. KidsFest is free and includes kid-friendly bands on the KidsFest stage, arts and crafts areas, demonstrations and more! There are also ticketed bounce houses and inflatables.
KidsFest Coordinator Sought
We are accepting applications for the KidsFest Coordinator. KidsFest @ AthFest is an integral part of the festival providing kid-friendly performances (some featuring young performers), participatory arts & crafts, demonstrations, and bounce houses.
The KidsFest Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of KidsFest and is assisted by the Event Coordinator and Production Coordinator. Familiarity with event planning and experience working with children is required. The AthFest Planning Committee meets monthly from January to July. The position includes a small stipend.
